The Collaborative Technologies group mission is to develop advanced collaborative technologies and other related technologies to support interdisciplinary researchers and decision makers in areas of importance to DOE, including scientific simulation and modeling, enterprise management, remote instrumentation, disaster management, and engineering design and management.

The Collaborative Technologies Group (CTR) leverages millions of dollars invested in research breakthroughs ranging from Agent technology, to Cluster analysis, to Information integration. We work in small teams of researchers and software engineers to produce solid, high-quality, and reliable project deliverables. We have expertise in agent technology, XML, RDF, Java, software engineering

Projects

• Virtual Information Processing Agent Research (VIPAR)
• Collaborative Management Environment (CME) - to create an environment to financially manage and analyze research funding across the National Laboratory Complex. CME aims to provide an order of magnitude increase in the efficiency of the proposal submission process across DOE.
